Welcome to Bizmore.com!

We are glad you have decided to join our community. This Code of Conduct is meant to be a short introduction that community members can use to make this site the best place to get business information and answers.

We hope that all our members will use this information as a foundation for their conduct, and the conduct of others, throughout the site. Please take a few minutes to read the code of conduct before you post!

(If you are looking for the detailed legal document, please see the Terms of Use.)

BASIC CODE OF CONDUCT

Members of our site are expected to participate in a professional, ethical, and positive way. We encourage you to participate as much as you feel you can. Ask and answer questions. Post links and opinions. Be involved.

We encourage you to be as professional in your dealings with each other here as you would be in a face to face meeting. That means:

  • No derogatory comments towards another member
  • Work safe content at all times (especially keep this in mind if you are sharing a video or photo)
  • Personal information such as email address, phone numbers or, personal website addresses should only be posted in your profile.
  • If you do not feel comfortable sharing a piece of information with the members of this site, leave it out of your profile.
  • Do not post in all capital letters. Capital letters indicate shouting. Use bold or italics for emphasis.
  • Spell check what you write.
  • Know that our site will be picked up by all major search engines. Whatever you write today will live on long after you post your message.
  • Be courteous to one another. Say please and thank you.

CAN I USE INFORMATION I FIND ON THE WEB TO ANSWER QUESTIONS?

If you are using content already available elsewhere, please provide attributions and links. We want your opinions, not just someone else's words. If you are posting something someone else wrote, get their permission before you do so and then attribute it. Provide sources even if you think everyone knows where something came from.

If you use information verbatim from another website, appropriate credit must be included with your post. In many cases, you need to obtain permission from the website or article owner in order to re-print that information. Some websites, especially news media, will not allow reposting of web content even if you do want to provide credit, so beware of what you post.

CAN I CREATE MY OWN POLLS?

If you are looking for people to express an opinion or pick from a set of optional answers, you can ask a moderator to create a poll. You will need to provide the question, the answers, and the intended audience. If you want the poll to have a certain start and end date, let them know that as well. The moderator will contact you when the poll has been approved and when it has been created.

DO YOU HAVE ANY HINTS ON EXPRESSING MYSELF ON THE WEB?

If you have something good to say about someone, say it publicly. If you have something not so good to say, tell them privately. If you need a third party to assist you, contact a site moderator.

Use emoticons as a way to help express your thoughts properly. They are built into the editors on the site to make it easy for you to use them. Use them. Remember that people reading your posts can't see you. The emoticons are there to help you show how you feel about what you are saying. At the same time, do not use the emoticons as an excuse for being rude or divisive. Keep things civil, please.

WHAT ELSE SHOULD I WATCH OUT FOR?

There will be members who regularly respond in a negative, off-topic or irrelevant manner. (The internet community calls these posters "trolls".) When a post of this type is made, do your best to ignore it. If the posts are getting in the way of friendly, informative dialogue, tell a moderator. It is part of their job to handle the problem.

By the same token, keep things legal. If what you want to suggest isn't legal, don't suggest it - even as a joke. If you aren't sure if you are going over the line, ask a moderator. Part of the moderator's job is to ensure that the site provides business information that the community will find useful. Providing suggestions that imply a person should engage in illegal activities is not helpful. These comments, and possibly the user who posted them, will be removed from the site.

Vendor Information

WHERE CAN I POST VENDOR INFORMATION?

Please do not spam the rest of the site. If you wish other members to contact you professionally, post in the Vendor space. Your posts throughout the rest of the site should provide information to be shared with everyone. Keep as much of the conversation on the site as possible: You never know who might hit the same issue in the future.

WHAT CAN I POST AS VENDOR INFORMATION?

Vendor information should be kept as brief as possible. Think classified ad instead of blog post. Post your contact information, what you offer, and any special offers for community members. Information posted in the vendor area is fully moderated, so it will need to be approved before it goes public.

WHAT DOES IT COST TO POST VENDOR INFORMATION?

For now, posting your information in the vendor area does not cost anything. Eventually, it will cost to post here. While you may get a discount when the pricing plan is defined, being in the vendor area now does not guarantee that you will be in later.

WHERE CAN I FIND SOMEONE WHO….?

If you are looking for a vendor, check the Vendor space. Contact them via that area or via private message. If you are looking for recommendations post your request to others throughout the site. You never know who else might be reading with the information you need.

AND FINALLY:

We ask all our members to do their best to help each other out. One of the beauties of this site is that we can all help each other out. Although the moderators are here to help steer you in the right direction, the site can only be as good as its members. Your participation and behavior on the site will help it become a success. We need everyone to work together to make that happen.

Networks

Bizmore will create and operate one or more networks on the Site (each, a “Network”).  Networks allow registered Bizmore users to interact and connect with other Network members.  Networks may include user profiles, discussion forums, document, music, photo and video sharing, among other features.  Networks may or may not include advertising, depending on whether the Network creator has purchased Premium Services which are described below.  Premium Services are services provided by Bizmore to Network creators for a fee.  Networks, including those operated by Bizmore for a fee, are subject to these Terms of Use.

Premium Services and Payment

Premium Services

There are two primary ways that we support Bizmore: through advertising and Premium Services provided to Network users. As a Network creator, you can purchase one or more Premium Services from us. The categories and prices of our Premium Services are described separately and are subject to change from time to time ("Premium Services Policies"). We may choose to temporarily change the fees for the Premium Services for promotional or new services, and such changes are immediately effective when Bizmore posts the temporary promotional event or new service on the Site. Any changes to fees for Premium Services that are not temporary or promotional will be effective thirty (30) days after we provide you with notice by posting such changes on the Site. The changes shall only apply prospectively to the Premium Services you've purchased. Unless otherwise stated, all fees are quoted in U.S. Dollars.

Payment Generally

You are responsible for paying all fees and applicable taxes associated with the Premium Services in a timely manner with a valid payment method. You authorize Bizmore to charge your credit card, charge card, debit card, PayPal, or financial institution account (herein "Payment Method") for all charges to your accounts with Bizmore. Your Payment Method will be charged the current fee for the Premium Service you choose on the date that you click on the "Purchase" button in the ordering process. Today, we only offer recurring payments. You agree that Bizmore may automatically charge the fee to your Payment Method at the beginning of each recurring period. For example, if you choose a Premium Service with a monthly plan, you will be billed every month on the anniversary date of the date you clicked the "Purchase" button. Additionally, we may offer a pre-pay payment option for payment of Premium Services ("Pre-Payment Plan"). If you opt for Pre-Payment plan, your Payment Method will be charged the then-current fee for that Premium Service at the commencement of each renewal period.

You acknowledge and agree that any credit card and related billing and payment information that you provide to Bizmore may be shared by Bizmore with companies who work on Bizmore's behalf, such as payment processors and/or credit agencies, solely for the purpose of checking credit, effecting payment to Bizmore and servicing your account. The terms of your payment will be based on your chosen Payment Method and may be determined by agreements between you and the financial institution providing such Payment Method. You agree to pay Bizmore all charges incurred under your account for any Premium Service in which you or anyone else who uses your account (including children, family and friends) enroll in accordance with this Agreement and any applicable Premium Services policies. If your Payment Method fails or your account is past due, (a) you agree to pay all amounts due on your account upon demand, (b) Bizmore may collect fees owed using other collection mechanisms (this includes charging other payment methods on file with us) and (c) Bizmore reserves the right to either suspend or terminate your Premium Services or your account with Bizmore, including deletion of your Network from the Site.

Except as may be set forth in applicable Premium Service Policies or (Termination), any fees charged to your account are non-refundable. You agree to submit any disputes regarding any charge to your account in writing to Bizmore within sixty (60) days of such charge, otherwise such dispute will be waived and such charge will be final and not subject to challenge. Refunds (if any) made pursuant to such dispute, are at the discretion of Bizmore.

Taxes

You are responsible for paying any governmental taxes imposed on your use of the Bizmore Platform, including, but not limited to, sales, use, or value added taxes. If requested, you will promptly furnish to Bizmore the applicable receipts and/or certificates regarding such remittances as soon as reasonably practicable. To the extent that Bizmore is obligated to collect such taxes, the applicable tax will be added to your billing account.

BIZMORE DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY, CONTENT, OR TIMELINESS OF THE CONTENT OR SITE SERVICES OR THAT THEY OR RELATED SYSTEMS ARE FREE FROM VIRUSES OR OTHER CONTAMINATING OR DESTRUCTIVE PROPERTIES.

UPON BIZMORE 'S REQUEST, YOU AGREE TO DEFEND, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS BIZMORE FROM ANY CLAIMS AND EXPENSES, INCLUDING REASONABLE LEGAL FEES, RELATED TO ANY BREACH OF THESE TERMS OF USE BY YOU OR YOUR USE OF ANY SITE SERVICES.
